How to sync your iFit Active
After you first download the iFit Track app, follow these steps to sync your device:
- On your phone, open the iFit Track app
- Turn your phone’s bluetooth ON
- On your iFit Active, turn sync ON by pressing and holding the top and bottom buttons for 3 seconds
- Continue to press and hold buttons until the device reads “SUCCESS”
If you have already passed the app setup phase, and your device did not properly sync, follow these steps:
- On your phone, open the iFit Track app
- Turn your phone’s bluetooth ON
- On your iFit Active, turn sync OFF by pressing and holding the top and bottom buttons for 3 seconds
- Pause 5 seconds
- Turn Sync ON
- On the iFit Track app dashboard screen, pull down and hold to reveal a menu of devices
- Select your device from the list and look for “SUCCESS” on your iFit Active display
- Pull down on dashboard screen to sync your iFit Active once it is synced
If you continue to have problems syncing, try these three troubleshooting techniques.
Troubleshooting technique 1
- Turn your phone’s bluetooth OFF
- Turn iFit Active sync OFF, by pressing and holding the top and bottom buttons for 3 seconds
- Force close app
- Turn your phone’s bluetooth ON
- Reopen app
- On your iFit Active, turn sync ON by pressing and holding the top and bottom buttons for 3 seconds
- On the iFit Track app dashboard screen, pull down and hold to reveal a menu of devices
- Select your device from the list and look for “SUCCESS” on your iFit Active display
- Pull down on dashboard screen to sync your iFit Active once it is synced
Troubleshooting technique 2
- On your phone, open the iFit Track app
- Click on the menu button
- Click on the gear for settings
- Click on ‘advanced’
- Click on ‘device’
- Double click ‘unlink device’
- Force close app
- Turn your phone’s bluetooth ON
- Reopen app
- On your iFit Active, turn sync ON
- On the iFit Track app dashboard screen, pull down and hold to reveal a menu of devices
- Select your device from the list and look for “SUCCESS” on your iFit Active display
- Pull down on dashboard screen to sync your iFit Active once it is synced
Troubleshooting technique 3
This troubleshooting technique will have you perform a hard reset on your iFit Active. This will cause you to lose all data that has not been uploaded to your iFit App.
- Hard reset device (hold top and bottom buttons for 10 seconds)
- Power cycle your phone
- Turn phone bluetooth ON
- Reopen iFit Track app
- Turn your iFit Active’s sync ON
- On the iFit Track app dashboard display, pull down and hold to reveal menu of devices
- Select your device from the list and look for “SUCCESS” on your iFit Active display
- Pull down on dashboard screen to sync your iFit Active once it is synced

I have an ifit vue. It syncs to the iOS app without a problem and records everything as it should. My problem is that the settings on the iOS app will not save. For instance when I try to switch off the buttons for ifit outside and converting steps from cadence the app keeps saying unable to save changes please try I again.

I have a Ifit active and a galaxy edge 5.1.1 I have not been able to sync it not one time.. i did everything the hard reset and all i have the latest update on my phone still nothing not only that the date and time in incorrect it the ifit… can someone respond as to why this is happening i’ve had other trackers and they basically synced effortlessly… this is extremely frustrating as i just purchased it

This is a rip off! We spent over $1000 on a home elliptical which now cannot be used without paying an additional fee to this company. They should at least give us a free membership for a year. Your company is stealing our hard earned money-scammers!

Ifit VUE, Since Nov 6 2015 this is my second . Also bought one for a gift. Returned mine since battery would not charge. Now the second one is not working got it Nov 16. ifit app update failed and now the VUE wont charge nor LED lights. Using Samsung S4. work…………………HELP or return it? Saw this support but bogus if no read outs. Button’s Unresponsive, or Won’t Charge? Hard Reset.If your Vue buttons and screens aren’t working, or if it won’t charge or sync, try a hard reset to reboot. This will erase all of the information on your Vue. Any stats synced before the hard reset will be saved on the app.
Follow these steps.
1.From the Time and Date screen, double tap to get to your Battery screen.
2.Single tap to get to the Version screen.
3.Hold the square button for 7 seconds.
4.The words iFit Vue will appear.
5.Just like that you’re reset!

I have an ifit VUE and it was advertised that calls and text would display however under the advanced settings it states that this feature will be available on an upcoming version of my band? Now after reading all the information I can find it appears that this app is not even designed to work with a treadmill via bluetooth. I am hoping that there is a simple solution to this, but based on the number of frustrated customer reviews I have read it seems we have all been duped into purchasing a lemon.

I just received my iFitVue and now I am wondering if I made a really bad purchase. There were no instructions with it. I am 60 years old and I need instructions! I have tried to find information on this site and that is not working. I was able to get it synced to my Galaxy 5 phone, but that is about it. I would like to know how to work it. I have read many comments on here and NONE of them are good. I should have gone with my gut and spent a little more to get another popular fitness band from Amazon. Another thing that I have seen is that no one gets a reply or explanation on here. It seems as though I may have wasted money and will need to junk this band and get one that has a better reputation.

We purchased the Freemotion 645 elliptical at Thanksgiving;
and at time of purchase was told that everything was included. When trying to use it, we have found that it requires a wifi connection to link to a program that is an additional monthly/yearly charge (& no trial either). We are very angry about. Your salesperson guaranteed we would not need anything else to access all the programs. So they lied!
My husband is a disabled veteran, who has cancer, and he needs this to help him with rehabilitation and activity to help build blood cells and immune system. It is not that great without the programs, and definitely not worth the hefty price tag!
We were told this model is the best because it cannot fall off the track due to its construction. Well, it falls off the track all the time and I worry about my husband falling off it especially if I am not home. Incidentally, we paid for your company to build it! Another lie because it DOES fall off its track! When my husband falls off it due to the strikers going off track, we will send you the medical bills to pay as well as lost wages for me to care for him, and all expenses due to your faulty equipment.
We expect you to repair this machine, or replace it with a new one (one that will not fall off the track, which may mean you will need to upgrade this one); refund us the total amount of the machine as well as additional fees for you building it; and pay for a lifetime membership to access the programs.
This is expected to be handled within 30 days, by March 4, 2016. If not, we will be moving forward with legal action.

Just bought Nortrack 5700 elite. Love the idea of videos and walking trails. Suggested walk trails from ifit work, BUT mapping, and saving map created doesn’t always save and some maps created have zero miles for distance. Example I would like to walk Macinaw bridge Michigan USA and see the walk what can we do? Where do I find a variety of other pre made trails? Thank you

I have tried for 3 days to sync my Ifit active and it does not work no matter how many times I have tried. I really would like to return it but I live to far from where it was purchased. I have an Ifit Active tracker.
Not sure whats worse, the tracker or the app.
Constantly fails to connect.
Updating calories via the app doesn’t work, everything recorded as being eaten at midnight.
Deleted all Calories Consumed but info shows one figure on Dashboard and completely different figure in stats, when it should say zero; again all showing as eaten at midnight.

Yes I have the ifit coach app downloaded with an account. Went to Sears where I bought the treadmill and spent an hour with the sales rep. He even downloaded the ifit coach to his Samsung for future customers and couldn’t get his phone synced wth either of the treadmills we were trying. We must be missing something?

Hi Jade, so the app doesn’t sync with the treadmill. When you log into your account on the app, you log into the same account on your treadmill and that is how the data is shared between your treadmill and the app. So once you do a workout on your treadmill while you are logged into your account on the treadmill then it will show up on your app. Let me know if you have any questions or if we can assist you further! I promise you the number of people who will buy your band is minuscule compared the number of people that today own an Apple Watch, FitBit or Garmin device. You are cutting off your nose to spite your face — and reducing the value proposition to your users — in not providing support for those wearables.

Hello iFit Team!,
When my Proform treadmill wore out after 13 long years, I spent a lot of time researching treadmills. I was going to get another Proform but Nordic Track was ranked #1 by Consumer Reports. I love, love, love this treadmill and do not regret purchasing it at all. I love the tracking on the iFit Vue, but I also love my Fitbit. And while it is not feasible to wear two trackers at the same time, I do prefer my Fitbit (for aesthetic reasons) and as I can participate in company wide competitions and the like.
I would really love for an integration between iFit and FitBit. I think it would be great for iFit to have compatibility with this app to sync workouts and other data.
