Ingredients

  • 1 (12-ounce) can evaporated milk
  • ½ cup water
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 3 whole cloves
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • ½ teaspoon coffee extract
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ⅛ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ⅛ teaspoon ground nutmeg

Directions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine evaporated milk, water, sugar, cloves, and cinnamon stick.
  2. Bring to a boil, stirring continually, until sugar is dissolved.
  3. Remove from heat, then add coffee and vanilla extracts.
  4. Cool for 20 minutes, then remove cloves and cinnamon stick.
  5. Refrigerate for about 4 hours.
  6. Prior to serving, top with nutmeg.
