• 2 cups 1% milk
  • ¼ cup whole anise seeds
  • 1 tablespoon honey


  1. In a medium saucepan, bring the milk and anise seeds to a slow boil.
  2. Turn down and simmer for five minutes.
  3. Remove from heat, then strain out the anise.
  4. Stir in the honey and drink warm.
