Natalie is a nationally accredited Fitness professional and is passionate about improving and changing lives through fitness. She is certified in NASM-CPT, iFIT, RapidFit, Rip:60, InclineFit, Vibration, FreeMotion Cable and Incline Training. She is also a certified Biomechanics Trainer through Intelligent Training Systems.
Whole Foods Market Healthy Eating Specialist
As Whole Foods Market’s Healthy Eating Specialist, Julie thrives on challenging herself to create deliciously nutritious recipes focusing on plant-based ingredients that nourish the body and deliver clean energy. Julie holds a BS in Psychology with a concentration in Health Studies. She is currently pursuing her Health Coaching certification from The Institute for Integrative Nutrition. She enjoys running, tennis, and yoga and completed her first marathon last year using completely unrefined, whole foods.
Dietician and Running Coach
Alicia Shay is a registered dietician and studied Human Biology/Pre Med at Stanford University. She currently works for the Run SMART Project. She is passionate about coaching and sharing her knowledge about nutrition with others.
Alicia is a two-time NCAA 10,000m champion. She still currently holds the NCAA 10,000meter record of 32:19! In 2007 she was the USA 20KM champion. She is most proud of taking 4th place at the USA Olympic Trials in
Seth is passionate about running and the outdoors and is an accomplished runner. Seth loves working with Altra and developing the revolutionary Altra shoe line. He has also been the Head Trainer at Premier Weight-Loss Retreat. It was then that Seth discovered the extreme need for better footwear for people at all running and fitness levels. After hearing about Altra initiative, he couldn’t wait to join the team. His motiavtion and experience have been a great addition to Altra.
Laura Schwecherl is the Marketing Director at Greatist.com, the fastest growing health and fitness site on the web. Her passions include running (from interval springs to marathon training), yoga, and maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
